|Aranow is a world leading supplier of multilane stick pack and sachet machines. They established themselves as manufacturers producing high performing (OEE>95%) and versatile machines for a variety of industries such as Pharmaceutical, Nutraceutical, Cosmetics and Food & Beverage. Their innovative approach and research department ensure they stay up-to-date with cutting-edge technologies and create ideas that can help customers come up with inventive products.
One of the examples of such products is a double dosing stick pack which means separate products can be filled into it at the same time. In the Pharmaceutical industry the main advantage of combining two different filling systems is that you can pack both the excipient and the active ingredient simultaneously without having to perform a blend upstream and therefore avoiding possible demixing during the filling process. Different types of feeding systems (volumetric and Auger filler) can be combined according to the behaviour of each product and the requested accuracy.

This technology can be applied to machines ranging from lab scale R&D machines - that are used for conducting stability tests and clinical trials - as well as high speed full production units. We are capable of handling different width sizes for the stick packs or sachets, but in particular if powders can be handled with micro auger filler then we can fill into packs as narrow as 25mm. This new approach to stick pack and sachet filling could lead to a new trend in pharmaceutical projects because it guarantees the correct mixture of products in each pack.
Manufacturers in the Food and Beverage industry could also reap the advantages of this technology. Coffee manufacturers in particular would benefit from being able to combine premium fine powder and granulated coffee in the same stick pack or sachet.
